Hi, it's Justin here reporting for the Trubyville Times.
Today in class, for our morning work, we did a math problem solving paper. Most of the questions were pretty easy, but I did get stuck at times. Right after that, we did our spelling test. Some of the harder words were unpleasant, neutral, turbulent, and ignorant. Don't think that there were only hard words on the test because there were also easier words like rival, label, absent, and legal.
Later, we had Spanish. Mrs. Perrazo helped us learn about our project that is due before the end of November. Finally, we had our first recess. It was a short recess, but it was still fun. After that, we went straight into the gym to have a music practice for our Winter Holiday Show in December. It lasted about 1 hour. Mr. Dary (our music teacher) said," I'm very proud of you." Then Mrs. Truby said that we look very hot, so she took the whole grade out for a fun recess.
About ten minutes later, we went to computer and we made some bookmarks on Microsoft PowerPoint. Someone told Mrs. Truby that we were supposed to print a color picture of our t-shirts that we had already made and copy onto our flash drives. So almost everybody brought a picture of their t-shirt on Friday, but we really weren't supposed to. I thought that everybody's t-shirts were really cool.
When we got back, we took our papers out of our pockets to see how many coupons we would get. We didn't have enough time to get our payday because Mrs. Truby said that it was time for lunch.
For lunch we had fish wedges, roasted potatoes and peas. At recess, most of the boys played two hand touch football. Most of the girls played volleyball. Some of us left for band after recess but some of us went back to the classrooms for study hall. In band, we learned how to play Fara Jaka and we passed it within 7 minutes.
We left band and went back to the classroom and had payday and read our weekly newsletter. I was paid 17 coupons. We learned about a new project that is coming up called Surviving the Applewhites Animal Display Board. This project is due Tuesday, December 16th.
At 3:00, we went outside and enjoyed the last recess of the week. At recess I played football. I ran after the ball, but I accidentally ran into someone and got a big bump on my head. After finishing recess we went into the gym to get ready to enjoy the weekend. Mrs. Smola called the car line kids outside. Mr. Burdette called out the under the bell kids for dismissal. Everyone left for the weekend.
